A marketplace for Ontario minor-ailments care.

Ontario Virtual Pharmacist is a marketplace. We connect Ontario residents with Ontario-licensed pharmacists for the 19 minor ailments the Ontario College of Pharmacists has authorized pharmacists to assess and prescribe for since January 2023. We aren't a pharmacy ourselves — we route each visit to a participating accredited pharmacy based on your delivery address.

The idea is simple. Minor ailments — UTIs, pink eye, cold sores, acid reflux — don't need a doctor's appointment. And yet, most Ontarians still wait hours in walk-ins, or worse, an ER. The network shortens that path: a phone or video consult with a licensed pharmacist, then dispensing and delivery handled by an accredited pharmacy near you.

Patients pay nothing for the consult when they present a valid Ontario health card — the assessment is funded by Ontario's Ministry of Health. Standard same-day and next-day delivery are free across most of the GTA and Ontario.
